I just found out I live in the area of London with the fourth highest teenage pregnancy rate with 1/14 girls getting pregnant by the age of 16. This rate has also increased by 15% since 1998. See news article here.
The Haringey council is planning on setting up a Teenage Pregnancy Executive Board in September. Let's hope it is successful because that rate of teen mothers is way too high and they need to do something drastic to stop it.
