When it comes to good sex, penis size does not matter after all

I have always believed that the difference in penis size between men of different ethnic backgrounds was a bit of a myth. I thought there were more similarities between races than differences because so much of the idea of race is socially constructed. The most common example is of African men being larger and this stereotype is played into with cultural ideas about them being the most virile and desired of the races. But this always seemed to be a leftover prejudice from when slavery was rife in America. If African men are “savages” and aggressive and out to rape any woman they meet then it fits. Another stereotype I’ve been hearing about lately is that Indian men’s penises are smaller than average. Again, I thought this was likely a myth (although I’m not sure how it would fit into the cultural context).

But it’s true! The Indian Council of Medical Research just finished a two year study measuring penis sizes and found that Indian men are, indeed, smaller than average.

Although many Indian men around the world will protest this is actually a wonderful finding in terms of public health! One of the biggest problems with the spread of disease is that condoms fail to work properly, and with India being the nation with the most HIV cases this information can be put to some good use. Hopefully this information can now be used to help make condoms more effective and reduce the spread of disease.

I hope the Indian ego isn’t too damaged by this, but with them being the producers of the Kama Sutra (the most popular sex manual in the world!!) it seems that size really does not matter after all and it’s how you use it that counts!

  1. its a flawed study, they only took poor undernourished indian men from delhi and mumbai, that's it; and represent all indian men based on that-SAMPLING BIAS!!!!!!. what about punjabi, rajasthani, rajput, gujurati etc. men????????

Plus 2001 study in U.S. proclaimed the same coclusion of men not measuring up to condom size...
